Crabdash

A native Rust and GPUI homelab dashboard for containers, services, disks, and remote Linux hosts.

Crabdash project mark

Overview

Crabdash is a native homelab dashboard written in Rust with GPUI, the same UI framework used by the Zed editor. It's built to keep an eye on a home server: running containers, systemd services, disk usage, and other machines on the network, from one native window instead of a browser tab per tool. It talks to Docker and remote Linux hosts directly, rather than going through a browser-based dashboard, which keeps it lightweight and fast to open.

Highlights

  • Native Rust and GPUI desktop application
  • Docker container and systemd service monitoring
  • Disk usage and remote Linux host status in one window
